Influenced by the vibrant atmosphere of the early gothic rock Vermelho Flutuante describes a rite of passage to a new phase. The lyrics uses the metaphor of the ritual as an idea of mindset's changing and openness to new ideas. What was once seen as impure is now seen as a magic.

The dark and dancing melody brings a sensation of movement, taking you to a flow. Despite the fantastic lyrics, the song connects the listener with real and timeless themes such as feelings of guilt, breaking of paradigms, accepting the different and changing attitudes.
